Validation
Validation, which is now a requirement of GMP, is applied to the whole manufacturing process so that high quality and uniform goods are produced. Validation is a quality assurance system applicable to medicine manufacturing process and is used to prove not only facilities but also ingredients or products meet and sustain specific quality standards. It means the whole process should be validated from manufacturing development of process, test methods, cleaning, computers and equipment support to production. The introduction of validation process, therefore, will ensure quality error reduction and overall quality improvement.
